WELCOME
Newport Harbor Area Alumnae Panhellenic
Newport Harbor Area Alumnae Panhellenic is a community-based organization that is affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). Our membership is comprised of alumnae belonging to sororities associated with NPC. We meet monthly at the Newport Beach Yacht Club and enjoy the friendship that Alumnae Panhellenics offer. We have short business meetings followed by interesting speakers addressing a variety of topics. After the meeting we enjoy socializing and having lunch with our Panhellenic sisters.
We take great pride in our mission to provide scholarships to deserving young women. Since our founding we have worked to foster cooperative relationships with the universities in the southern California area as well as the sororities, affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference, that are located on the campuses of these institutions of higher learning. The Daphne Award is presented to women attending the University of California, Irvine (UCI). The Minerva Award recognizes women, other than those attending UCI, whose permanent address is located in the County of Orange and have graduated from a high school, public or private, located in Orange County. Applicants for the Minerva Award must be attending one of the universities located in our Southern California Council of Alumnae Panhellenics area that has been selected by Newport Harbor Area Alumnae Panhellenic to receive applications for the award.
Newport Harbor Area Alumnae Panhellenic welcomes new members and we hope that you will join us at one of our future gatherings.
